About Us
Way Club started as a simple dream for Founder and Board Chair, Monique Harrington. At 14-years old, she imagined having a local hangout, much like The Den in her favorite TV show Moesha, where her friends could laugh together and grow together. Since then, Monique set out to hone her skills and network to create that space, and Way Club is her vision brought to life.

What I love Most about Philly: I love that Philly is the birthplace of our nation and a city of “firsts” — first hospital, first library, first fire department. And now, the first faith-based social club for teenagers in high school!

What I love Most about Philly: I love our diversity. Every kind of person, business, food, or idea is represented within the city. You’re never at a loss of variety traveling through Philly; parks, museums, historic landmarks, cheesesteaks, and water-ice – AND the city was designed so that you can get anywhere in 30 minutes at most. The City of Brotherly Love has loads of life and experiences to appreciate.

What I love Most about Philly: What I love about Philly is that it is always changing, yet always stays the same in many ways. It is a vibrant, living and breathing work of art. It is and always will be my home.

What I love Most about Philly: The holidays — we know how to have a good time! There is nothing better than Ben Franklin Parkway being shut down for a big celebration, or going to the Christmas Village at Love Park/City Hall. Philly always has music, food, and fun for all!
